Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy
The Gaudio family helped found SMLCA in 2005, and Cash called it home from Kindergarten through first grade — then again as a sophomore and junior, where he played varsity basketball and was named an officer of the National Honor Society. Today, SMLCA honors Cash every year with an Orange Out basketball game and presents the Cash Gaudio Team Leadership Award at halftime. Because of your generosity, the Live Like Cash Gaudio Foundation is proud to provide ongoing support to SMLCA student-athletes in need.
Liberty Christian Academy
Cash attended LCA from second through sixth grade, then returned his senior year ready to leave his mark. Though VHSL rules kept him off the court, Cash never missed a moment — he was front row at every football and basketball game, louder than anyone in the stands. LCA honors his spirit at the first football game of each season with an Orange Out event, a pregame tailgate, and the Live Like Cash Student Spirit Leader Award presented at halftime. Because of your generous gifts, we are able to support LCA student-athletes who carry that same fire.
Hill City Crash
Cash was a proud member of the Hill City Crash Fraternity AAU travel team for three years — competing across the region, sharpening his game, and deepening his faith. It was inside that brotherhood, especially during the uncertainty of COVID, that Cash was most influenced to live like Christ. In his honor, Hill City dedicated their entire July season to his memory. Because of your faithful giving, we are able to help Crash kids pursue their dream of playing basketball at the next level.
Jefferson Forest High School
Cash attended Jefferson Forest from eighth grade through his sophomore year, playing both football and basketball. During those years he shot up nearly a foot, grew into his athleticism, and locked in academically — finding his footing through COVID with a focus on basketball and his grades that never let up. The Live Like Cash Gaudio Foundation is committed to continuing that investment, and because of your generous support, we are able to come alongside Forest's Christian athletes when they need it most.
